Okay WOW, what a hidden gem! Went here for brunch and it was almost empty, which is crazy because it was SO cute inside. I had the kale salad (delicious and unique with an incredible dressing, just wish there was more of it). I also wish we could add protein to the salad but I just had a side of chicken sausage. We also split a side of fries with a fab slightly spicy aioli which were top tier. Really recommend if you want a cute place that's quiet and not crammed with people. FYI it's in the back of a hotel.

If you want to have a Peruvian meal in a tranquil garden or forest, come here! You will definitely love the vibe of this spot. I met up w/ a friend for dinner and drinks on a Friday evening. It wasn't crowded surprisingly for 7:30pm dinner hour. We were seated and we both ordered the Lomo Saltado. It was definitely a bigger portion than I expected. While it was tasty, there was something missing. I can't pinpoint if it needed more of the sauce or if the steak needed more flavor. Either way it was still a good choice. Pisco sour is the cocktail of Peru and that didn't disappoint.

This was our pick for my mother's birthday dinner and they did not disappoint. My service pup was able to dine with me which I loved. The aesthetic of this restaurant puts you in a festive mood. It's intimate, dimmed and classy. Everything about this place is unique. From the drinks, presentation of the food and servers. Everyone made us comfortable at all times. Our food recommendations were amazing and we are happy that we listened to our server. The location of this place is great and in general compared to the options around I would 100% recommend this authentic and unique place. .

Birthday Dinner! Amazingggggggggg!!!! I had the best birthday dinner at Popular on a Thursday evening. Our waiter was an absolute JOY! He was so pleasant, helpful, lively and knowledgeable. As for our table spread we had oysters, jumbo shrimp tails, chicken & avocado causa, duck & rice, sticky prawns and lomo saltado. We enjoyed everything! Our entrees were all generous portions, enough so that we were all able to share dishes. Our waiter was amazing, continually checking in on us and assuring our champagne glasses stayed full & champagne chilled. There's a super vibey rooftop right upstairs. We moved to the rooftop after dinner to keep the celebration going. Great views of the city, adequate seating areas and good drinks. I'm sure minimum spends change by day but for the night we were there it was $400 for a table/seating area. Money well spent!!!

Everything here was incredible! Came for restaurant week and got the ceviche, fish, and shrimp and noodles! Their pisco sours are great too and have a large range of options! The restaurant I tucked in the back of the public hotel but definitely feels secluded and great ambiance!

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here, first had the Pisco sour and the margarita to drink. The pisco sour was excellent and would definitely recommend again. To eat had the burger and the steak frites. The steak was cooked at a medium rare, we asked for the burger as medium well but it came out medium rare. The service was excellent from checking into our reservation and the waiter being informative of the menu.

I went to Peru this summer and was truly moved by the pisco sour drink, I've been in search for some good pisco sour since. I landed in Popular. Such a wonderful ambience. I am huge on dim lights because it brings a warm and welcoming vibe. Let's get into the food. The ceviche (truly any ceviche on the menu) is delicious. The service was excellent and we were visited by the chef who was on the floor that day. It was truly and incredible experience. The shrimps were cooked to perfection and the special sauce was tart and sweet met with the perfect texture of the crusted shrimp. To die for. I really enjoyed the food and i would definitely come back.

Sorry for the delay with these guys , I always forget to leave reviews . But this restaurant was EVERYTHING . The food was flavorful, fresh, delightful . Perfect date night (we came after a show) it has warm lighting, plants everywhere and quiet enough to actually talk ! And when I say we let not a sip or crumb go to waste ! We actually came back here a few times after because of the oysters alone ! (If anyone follows me they would know I am a oyster lover by now) Its so good . I highly recommend.
